Top 3 Golf Balls for Slower Swing Speeds to Increase Distance
For golfers with slow swing speeds looking to increase distance and accuracy, choosing the right golf ball can make a significant difference. Here are the top three golf balls that are particularly well-suited for this purpose:
1. Titleist Tour Soft
• Key Features: The Titleist Tour Soft is designed with a large core and a thin cover, which helps to maximize distance while maintaining a soft feel. The ball’s low compression is ideal for golfers with slower swing speeds, as it allows the ball to compress more easily, resulting in better energy transfer and longer drives.
• Performance: This ball offers a good balance of distance and control, making it easier to keep shots straighter and more accurate. The soft feel also enhances feedback on shorter shots, which can improve your short game.
2. Callaway Supersoft
• Key Features: As the name suggests, the Callaway Supersoft is known for its ultra-low compression, which makes it a great choice for golfers with slower swing speeds. The ball features a soft core that helps to reduce spin on full shots, leading to longer, straighter drives.
• Performance: The Supersoft’s low drag HEX Aerodynamics are designed to reduce air resistance, allowing the ball to travel farther even at lower speeds. It also provides a very soft feel, which many players find beneficial for improving touch and control around the greens.
3. Bridgestone e12 CONTACT
• Key Features: The Bridgestone e12 CONTACT is engineered with a unique dimple pattern that increases surface contact with the clubface, enhancing energy transfer for greater distance. It has a medium compression rating, which is suitable for slower swing speeds while still offering good feedback and control.
• Performance: This ball provides a nice blend of distance and control, with reduced spin on longer shots to help improve accuracy. The soft feel on impact also helps in the short game, making it a versatile option for players looking to improve both distance and accuracy.
These golf balls are specifically designed to help golfers with slower swing speeds achieve better distance and accuracy, providing a combination of soft feel, reduced spin, and enhanced energy transfer.

I think the Callaway Supersoft is a really good ball and so is the Bridgestone e12 but the Srixon Soft Feel has yielded me even better results. I am a 55yo golfer, 5'7", my driver swing speed is 94-98mph (stiff) and my iron swing speed is 86-92mph (reg/stiff). I am using a Cobra Radspeed 9.0deg driver with a Mitsubishi Tensei AV X-Link Blue 65R shaft, TM Qi10 irons w/TT Dynamic Gold R300 95 shafts. I'm noticing about a 15-20yd increase in distance between using the Srixon and Bridgestone balls (Srixon further 260-280yds). The Srixon is alot further and straighter but the Bridgestone are much better inside of 100yds. I think the Srixon are often overlooked and they are in the same price range as the Callaway and Bridgestone and nearly half the price of the Titleist, I love your reviews.
